The car was conceived and developed in comparatively short time of 10 months. It's hydrogen-fueled H2R set nine international speed records for cars powered by a hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine at the Miramas Proving Grounds in France.
The BMW H2R is equipped with 6.0-liter V-12 locomotive, based on BMW's Valvetronic and Double-VANOS technology, as per the 760i's gasoline-fueled power plant. This H2-powered top performer generates 232 horsepower, serving it to attain a high velocity of over 187 mph.
With a best upper of more than 185 mph, the H2R is non intended for aggregate product, but does support get cleaner power plants for product models.
